Tamayose Hidemi Komon
Presidential Advisor / Style Founder
- Hanshi 10th Dan Ryukyu Kobudo
- Hanshi 10th Dan Shorin Ryu Karate Do
Tamayose Sensei was born on 14 July 1949 on the small island of Ikema (Okinawa Prefecture). Tamayose Sensei started Okinawa Karate in 1967 in order to become stronger and healthier. His first teacher was Masao Shima Sensei (1933-2003), who taught him Matsubayashi Karate. However, he was also very interested in weapons training, so in 1974 Tamayose Sensei moved to the dojo of Seiyu Nakamura Sensei, a student of Chibana and Na-kama.
In 1982, Tamayose Sensei graduated from Nakamura Sensei to 6th dan karate and 6th dan kobudo. In the same year, he decided that it was now time to train Ryukyu Kobudo directly with Eisuke Akamine Sensei, the most important Kobudo expert of the time. Tamayose Sensei went to kobudo training almost every day. Shortly before his master's death in 1999, Tamayose asked him if he would allow him to found his own association. This is how the Ryukyu Kobudo Tesshinkan Kyokai came into being. His association was officially recognised when it was accepted into the Okinawa Ken Karate do Rengokai and Okinawa Ken Kobudo Renmei associations. With the award of the 10th Dan Ryukyu Kobudo from Okinawa Ken Kobudo Renmei in 2015, he is considered one of the most important Kobudoka worldwide.
In January 2023, the Okinawa Ken Karate Do Rengokai appointed him Karatedo Hanshi 10th Dan. This makes Tamayose Sensei one of the few grandmasters to have reached such a high level in both karate and kobudo.

David Dekreon Shibucho
Shibucho Europe
- 5th Dan Shorin ryu Karate Do
- 4th Dan Ryukyu Kobudo
David Dekreon, who was born in Frankfurt in 1984, began practising karate in 1998. Due to his karate experience, Dekreon Sensei completed a student exchange programme to Japan in 2000. In addition to karate, he also trained in kendo on a daily basis.
This intensive training enabled him to be graded 1st Dan Kendo in 2000 and 1st Dan Shotokan Karate by Kanazawa Sensei in 2005.
In addition to martial arts, Dekreon Sensei also learnt Cha-Do (tea ceremony), Ikebana and calligraphy in Japan.
He first came into contact with Ryukyu Kobudo in 2004 and met Master Tamayose Hidemi Sensei in 2006. This enabled him to familiarise himself with Okinawan culture at first hand. In 2007, his question as to whether Sensei could also do karate led to the creation of a new style. Tamayose Sensei created his interpretation of karate: Ryukyu Shorin Ryu Karate do Tesshinkan. Dekreon Sensei studied Tamayose Sensei's teachings extensively and was appointed Shibucho (Regional Director) for Europe in 2024.
